When the iuninstall script failed, as root I ran 'touch Archive.bom' in /System/Library/Filesystems/ntfs-3g.fs/Support and received the folling output, which seems to be better than the state I was in before:Ĭan't read from /System/Library/Filesystems/ntfs-3g.fs/Support/Archive.bom

I don't pay for Tuxera, but I was still experiencing this issue when trying to install and then uninstall NTFS-3G on El Capitan in May of 2016! Thanks, Tuxera devs for dropping the customer support ball. It's bullshit that this question was never answered. Receipt '/System/Library/Filesystems/ntfs-3g.fs/ NTFS-3G - When attempting to uninstall Error message pops up: MacFUSE- is uninstalled but the icon is still present in the System panel. After extensive testing decided to uninstall MacFuse and NTFS-3G. Just at the end of installation I got an error message but everything appeared to work fine.
Today, I upgraded my OS to 10.6.7, had already installed MacFUSE 2.1.5 earlier and installed NTFS-3G 2010.10.2. When attempting to uninstall NTFS-3G I'm getting an error message.
